Prof. Jamal Ahmad Siddiqui received B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Lib.Sc., M.Lib.Sc. M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Library & Information Science from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. His research interests include Knowledge Organization and Information Communication. He is presently the University Librarian in CCS University, Meerut and also the Head/Coordinator, Department of Library & Information Science, CCS University, Meerut. He has more than 25 years of experience in teaching and librarianship. He is Member of Academic Council, CCS University, Meerut, Convener, Board of Studies, Member of National Advisory Board for many LIS Journals, He is Life member of ILA, IASLIC, Delhi Library Association, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh Library Association, Ranganathan Research Circle, Bangalore, Management Library Network (MANLIBNET), IATLIS, NESA and other many professional Associations. He has presented a number of research papers in conferences, seminars and workshops in various parts of the country. More than 55 research papers have been published in reputed National and International journals. He has authored 5 books on Library and Information Science.
