Abstract

This paper in a brief overview of the “fingerprint history” in Hungary, from the medieval naive usage through the scientifically sound personal identification till the recent situation. This conference paper was presented in Bratislava, 18th of October, 2018, at the celebration of 100 years old Slovak Police (100 ROKOV ÄŒESKOSLOVENSKEJ ŠTÁTNOSTI, PRÁVNICTVA A BEZPEÄŒNOSTI).
