Dr. Amar Taksande is presently working as an  Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics, at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Sawangi, Wardha. He completed his residency at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram where he also worked as Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Department. He had done his Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Innova Children Heart Hospital, Hyderabad. He received an award of Visiting Fellowship by Royal College of Pediatric and Child Health (RCPCH), United Kingdom, 2011. He has published over 220 papers in national and international journals and is author of several pediatrics titles. He is life member of Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology Society of India and several other medical organizations. He has 18 years of teaching experience for undergraduate and postgraduate level students. He is also a peer reviewer of international Journals like Frontiers in Pediatric cardiology, Journal of cardiology and Medical Diagnosis, Congenital heart disease, Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Pediatric Infectious disease, World Journal of Meta-Analysis etc.

Dr. Bharati Taksande is presently working as Professor, Department of Medicine, at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram Wardha. She has been graduated from Indira, Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur in 1998 and subsequently post graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Sawangi in 2003. She has also obtained a postgraduate diploma in geriatric medicine from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2008. She received an award of Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). She has published over 50 papers in national and international journals. She is life member of Indian Medical Association, and several other medical organizations. She has 18 years of teaching experience for undergraduate and postgraduate level students and worked as co-investigator and principal investigator in funded and non-funded projects.
