The cell is a building block of our body. The cell knows when to divide and to what extent. In cancer, this regulation of the cell division is lost. These cells become just like a moving car on the steep slope with failed brakes. Worldwide scientists are trying to find out the exact reasons for the failure of the brake and how to prevent it, as well as correct it. This concept has been nicely elaborated in this book with reference to breast cancer. Both the authors have spent their entire academic life in this area of research, particularly the prevention of cancer. This was done through both teaching as well as laboratory research.
