At a time when the Internet is increasingly used to archive journals, the development of common search standards to extract this wealth of information is essential to make it accessible and fully searchable to the academic community.

The Open Archives Initiative (OAI) Metadata Harvesting Protocol is a uniform standard for automatically sharing "metadata" of archive documents (i.e. descriptions of archive information, such as titles, authors and abstracts of research papers) between archives.

Red Flower Publications supports OAI's Metadata Harvest Protocol. Metadata for all articles we publish is available through the OAI interface.
