Dr Vivekanshu Verma, MBBS, DFM, Fellow of Indian Society of Toxicology, is a unique combination of a Clinical Toxicologist, Author, Editor, Poet, Clinical Forensic physician, Medical Examiner, Instructor, Skill Trainer & Medicolegal Expert. He is Honorary Toxicology Expert, Central Bureau of Investigation. He is currently posted as Associate Consultant & Fellow in Department of Emergency & Trauma Care, MEDANTA the Medicity, Gurugram. He has been honored recently by “Award of excellence in field of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology” by Indian Association of Forensic Medicine, 2019. He ranked 9th in Pre-Medical Test (1997), Ranked 1st in PG foundation programme at SMS Medical college, Jaipur (2009), Ranked 1st in Rajasthan University of Health Sciences in Diploma in Forensic Medicine (2011). He is Associate faculty in Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Saveetha Medical College, Chennai & Interstate Medical Examiner in ‘Masters in Emergency Medicine’ exit examination by George Washington University. He is appointed as Indian Society of Toxicology (IST) Vice President - North Zone, for (2019-20). He is appointed as Coordinator of Indian Society of Toxicology Life Support Course (ISTOLS). He has Experience of presenting and contributing to featured series on Emergency in Broadcast Media: Featured as Consultant Toxicologist in National Geographic serial ‘Emergency Room’ Documentary recorded in Medanta: Performed Lifesaving skills in 3 episodes of international TV serial telecasted in 2013- 2014. He is an Author & Editor in internationally published Medical Books on Medical Toxicology. On 21st January 2023, got the award of Best Medicolegal expert from Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. On 26th January, 2023, during the Republic Day festival, he was publicly honored with Appreciation Certificate by the Badshahpur Municipal council, Gurugram for his significant contribution in the Medical Field of Organ Transplantation, as a Medicolegal Expert Member in the Medanta Hospital Organ Transplant Committee, appointed by the Haryana Government, since 2022.
