Annual Video Abstract Awards

You can submit a video abstract to your paper and win the annual Red Flower Publications Video Abstract Award. Videos with the highest number of views will be selected and the votes will be carried out by the author of the Red Flower Publications published.

Video Abstracts are an addition to the papers we provide to our authors. The videos will be presented by the author, and will be of 1-3 minutes duration, giving an overview of the paper so that readers can understand the content and motivation behind the paper.

The aim is to enable authors to personally explain to readers the importance of their work. The video abstract enables readers to understand and appreciate the main results and conclusions of the report, making it easy to understand and appreciate the article. To maximize engagement and visibility, the authors are encouraged to combine their own recordings with other relevant interest documents, such as recordings of experiments and lab tours.

The English video abstracts are published with the paper and also provide a database of journal indexes (such as PubMed, MedLine, Embase, Scopus, CAS).

Editorials, Expression of Concerns, Corrigenda, Photo Essays and Meeting Reports do not accept video abstracts.

Research funded by pharmaceutical companies

Since all materials published by pharmaceutical companies should be reviewed by the researchers, if your research is funded by pharmaceutical companies, you must submit the transcript of your video abstract, or the video abstract itself, when submitting your manuscript. The video's abstract or transcript will be peer reviewed along with the manuscript. If your paper is accepted and you have not received transcripts or video abstracts from you, this is too late to provide, and your video abstracts will not be published with your paper.

If you have any questions about video abstracts, please contact us.
