The Journal of Aeronautic Dentistry (JAD) is a peer-reviewed and refereed journal that publishes scholarly articles on the unique dental challenges faced by aircrew members, including the effects of artificial gravity, microgravity, and zero gravity. The journal focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dental injuries and conditions, such as head and neck trauma, tooth damage, and oro-dental pain. It also covers rehabilitation, endodontic, prosthetic, and surgical treatments for aircrew patients. Additionally, JAD features articles on advanced development projects related to spacecraft design, analysis, and operations. As the world's first scientific journal dedicated to aviation dentistry, JAD publishes cutting-edge research in this specialized field.
The Journal focuses on the techniques and developments of aircrew members facing numerous adverse effects, such as head and neck traumatic injury (head and neck traumatic injury, external mouth traumatic injury, facial traumatic injury, and bone mutilation), tooth traumatic injury (toe damage caused by a blood pressure) and tooth traumatic injury (oro-dental pain caused by a blood pressure).
The Journal of Aeronautic Dentistry (JAD) is an essential resource for a diverse range of professionals, including dentists, astronauts, aeronautical engineers, aerospace engineers, aircraft designers, and aircraft test pilots, providing them with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in aviation dentistry and its intersection with aerospace engineering and space exploration.
